I was blessed to spend a week with the Jeffers family and I was absorbed by their infectious love and humor.  Enjoy the photos!

Two threads, one twine.

The sun shines in on me as the carriage shuffles forwards, with staggered, startled motions.  The final straggling rays of the sun stretch onwards as the darkness swells from the trees, and all I think I about is that smile awaiting me, when I step off the train.  Yes, it is lovely, isn't it?

McCarrs Creek Cruising

It was Saturday morning.  Fiona and I had just heard on the radio that Adam Yauch (MCA) of The Beastie Boys had passed away in the States.  We set out for our day.  I wore my Adidas jacket and Fiona donned her old school high tops as we set off on a road trip, playing an anthology of Beasties throughout the day - saluting one of Hip Hop's brightest pioneers.  The day was filled with a medley of memories brought on by the songs of our past.  We stopped off at McCarrs Creek to snap some frames and end the day with some great coffee.  It was a nostalgic day contemplating the recollections of an era.  Enjoy the snaps.

Olympus Trip 35

Several months ago, I added vintage camera to my growing collection, but never got around to uploading the images from the developed film in February.  It's a nice camera, and it takes fantastic images, although I feel that it will really shine when taking portraits.  I will put it to the test again soon.  For now, enjoy some of the photos from the developed reel.

The Clove

I am sitting here in bed, at 1.42am, and the only thing I can think about, is food.  The appetite has been insatiable in recent days, and the only thing I can put it down to is the mental energy I/we have been putting into our new lives together and setting up our photography adventure/company.

Dinner was delicious, and the artichoke and roast garlic sauce I made up was nothing short of spectacular.  However, I have less positive things to say about gluten free pasta...nothing beats the good stuff!

Silently, he slept...
