The slumber of the morning was heavy, as the rain pounded the tiled balcony with a sleepy intent. We giggled whilst wrapped in the covers at his drowsy impressions of the birds passing by as dawn crept over the horizon, and talked about how happiness was laced within our paths, yet pondered at what happiness really was in the greater journey of life. As the rain was relentless in its purpose to shower down on the world today, we sipped on the turkish coffee whilst it's aroma permeated amongst the cards and flowers showered onto us from friends far away and close. There's something quite enchanting about being huddled indoors whilst the world washes by on the outside.

Tinsy update
It's been an intense couple of weeks, but one of magnitude in happiness. The steps we tread are still fresh. Bobby started his new job today and we couldn't feel more blessed about the opportunities that have have graced our journey.
Here are a couple of photos from the journey over the last week.
Here are a couple of photos from the journey over the last week.
We met up with a friend at The Grounds in Alexandria. The company was equally as delightful as location.
I mean look at this, beautiful
Dessert and tea at Orto in Surry Hills. Hanging glass decor is captivating. We will definitely be back to try the dinner here.
Keeping warm in front of the heater.
Others find alternative ways to keep warm.
Mums delicious tachin with slow cooked turkey throughout it, absolutely divine.
Mum also made roast duck to accompany the tachin...I think I satisfied myself for a week.

Two threads, one twine.
The sun shines in on me as the carriage shuffles forwards, with staggered, startled motions. The final straggling rays of the sun stretch onwards as the darkness swells from the trees, and all I think I about is that smile awaiting me, when I step off the train. Yes, it is lovely, isn't it?

McCarrs Creek Cruising
It was Saturday morning. Fiona and I had just heard on the radio that Adam Yauch (MCA) of The Beastie Boys had passed away in the States. We set out for our day. I wore my Adidas jacket and Fiona donned her old school high tops as we set off on a road trip, playing an anthology of Beasties throughout the day - saluting one of Hip Hop's brightest pioneers. The day was filled with a medley of memories brought on by the songs of our past. We stopped off at McCarrs Creek to snap some frames and end the day with some great coffee. It was a nostalgic day contemplating the recollections of an era. Enjoy the snaps.
